Our Produce
Tomatoes
A lot of our crop planning is based around how many tomato plants we grow. This year we are growing 500 tomato plants. Our choice of tomatoes come in many different colours, shapes and sizes. The varieties we are growing this year are: Gardener’s Delight, Goldiana, Yellow Submarine, Yellow Perfection, Black Cherry, Tigerella, San Marzano, Bocati and Gimli. Sown in late February, they will be potted on in March/April, then planted out into the polytunnels in May. Harvesting takes place continuously from July through to October.
