Update on stuff....

Hello Everyone,

A quick update……then the email this week is one with lots of admin, so I hope it is not too boring and you find it informative.

First of all a quick update. Planting of the summer fruiting plants (Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peppers and Melons) has gone really well and everything is now planted in the Polytunnels. This has involved harvesting the last of the over-wintered vegetables, preparing the beds and planting hundreds of plants – for example we have planted 487 tomato plants. Everything is looking good, all we need now is some warmth and some sun.

1. We are changing some of our delivery days from this week. This is as a result of good news from our point of view. The number of customers has increased considerably and to make sure we get all the deliveries done in a reasonable time we are spreading the deliveries more evenly between Thursday and Friday

If you live in Killingworth, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, North Shields, Ashington or Morpeth areas your box will now be delivered to you on a Friday.

2. We have a family wedding coming up…..

Our lovely daughter, Rebecca, is getting married on the 13th July. Deliveries prior to this weekend will all be a day earlier.

3. We are updating our website…..

This is a bit of a fib…we have our website designers updating the site! We wouldn’t have a clue how to do this! So look out in the next few weeks for a different look to the website, we hope you will like it!

4. We will be changing the veg and pork boxes in the coming weeks…..

We will soon be offering a new selection of boxes including Breakfast Boxes, BBQ boxes and a change in the seasonal box.
