Great time at the Market

Hello Everyone,

Bob and I hope you are all very well and we would both like to thank you for your continued support.

The box scheme is really busy. The market at Jesmond is, also, really very busy. It was also good to see so many of our regular box scheme customers attending the market to pick and choose your organic vegetables from the stall. It is lovely to meet and chat, particularly for Bob to meet customers from the Newcastle area. Bob normally delivers North of Newcastle and the Coast. Not only did he meet some of our Newcastle customers, but he also got to meet some of regular customers from South of the Tyne, including Sunderland, to chat with.

The market has a buzzing atmosphere, with more local producers attending month on month. Hexhamshire Organics has gained many regular customers, who now seem to be buying their weekly organic veg from us, at the market. Our market stall always looks colourful, fresh and full of local organic vegetables. We are very proud to show off our produce which is always harvested from the afternoon prior to market day. Lots of people take photos of the produce on the stall and we do receive many lovely compliments. This makes Bob and myself very happy.

Many of you receiving boxes from our farm to your door, also send us lovely comments about our produce. This also makes us very happy. If you don’t mind, we may pop some of these comments on our website (please say if you would rather your comments are not used). There have been some weeks, recently, where we are so busy we have been quite late in the evening delivering the boxes. We apologise for this, but just so you know……we will deliver! The time of the delivery will vary from week to week, depending on the number of orders and who orders that week. Ideally, ordering on the Wednesday, just after the email is sent, would help us enormously. We do want to harvest as close to delivery as possible. Our aim is always to make sure the produce we deliver is Fresh, Local and Organic.

Thank you for returning all the boxes and frozen insulation bags. It’s great we are all trying to do our bit for the environment……reuse and recycle ♻️
